IN TURIN. 

"I'm a testimonial. If you're coming to Torino, you MUST STAY HERE! Let me explain. You genuinely could not ask for a better host. 1) The hospitality. Maria and her husband are the kindest, most hospitable people. They will do everything to make you happy. They started by offering us a complimentary bottle of wine, complimentary breakfast, and snacks. Maria had to come back TWICE to help with some issues (like teaching me how to lock the gate), and she came both times on a moment's notice. When I told her I was going to pickup my rental car from the airport, she actually offered to drive me there! When I told her I wanted to find an outdoor market, she had her grand daughter call me and explain where to go and even offer to accompany me. When I told her I had a small problem with the Internet, she came over right away, fixed it, AND offered me use of a mobile wifi hotspot! She offers shampoo and other hygienic products.

2) The apartment. This apartment is gorgeous. It's actually a lot bigger than it appears in the photos. Everything is new and modern, all appliances are new, and you will have plenty of space for 4 people. There's a courtyard where you can relax and drink, and the parking spot for your car is actually quite large, which is a rarity in Italy. You will absolutely love the apartment. 3) The location. The location is really close to Porta Susa train station. It's a beautiful, residential area, and there's a bus stop on Via Luigi Cibrario (about 50 feet from the home). The local stores and restaurants are all incredibly kind and most are excited to encounter a foreigner, which is a really nice touch when you've dealt with too many Parisians in your life. It is a bit of a walk -- but not incredibly far -- from the main attractions. I would say it's about 15 minutes from Via Roma and the attractions near there. That said, you will walk down Via Garibaldi to get there, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Via Garibaldi is a 5-7 minute walk. Piazza Statuto is very close. I appreciated the walk. If you need a taxi, you can call one, and it will cost around €9 to get to the main attractions. Lastly, if you're looking for food delivery in Torino, USE FOODORA. I was disappointed that Deliveroo wasn't available in Torino, but Foodora is awesome. 4) Bottom line: This place is worth every penny. Maria should be deemed a super super host. Michael Okhravi
